NEW YORK, N.Y., January 5, 2011 “” With another blockbuster year spent delivering unique fundraising ideas to non-profits around the world closed, Autograph Store Charity Fundraising is pleased to announce it raised more than $2 million for charity in 2010. This week, the organization released its 2010 Report Card, detailing its tremendous success in 2010.
Founded in 2006, Autograph Store Charity Fundraising began with a small handful of only about 70 charity partners, and today boasts over 2,500. The organization, which provides charity auction items and once-in-a-lifetime experiences to non-profits in all 50 states and around the world doubled the number of fundraising dollars it raised in 2009.
“We knew when we wrapped up 2009 that 2010 was going to be a defining year for us, but I don’t think any of us could have imagined the kind of growth we’d experience,” said Anthony Nurse, charity fundraising director for Autograph Store. “I’m proud of what we’ve accomplished this year. We’ve brought some incredible new talent on board, we’ve helped thousands of worthy causes, and we’ve raised more fundraising dollars I think any of us ever could’ve imagined.”
Highlights of Autograph Store Charity Fundraising’s 2010 Report Card include:
“¢ $2,294,586 raised for charity
“¢ 1,583 charity auctions sponsored
“¢ 1,329 different charitable organizations served
“¢ 1,605 charity fundraising items donated
The group also added nine new members to its growing team of charity auction specialists and moved its expanding product line to a 5,000-square-foot warehouse. In addition to adding 23 new auction items to its catalog in 2010, Autograph Store Charity Fundraising placed an emphasis on getting its message and the messages of its charity partners out into the world of social media, posting 41 blogs and vlogs, and garnering over 4,000 friends, fans and followers on social networks like Facebook and Twitter.
“There’s no denying Autograph Store Charity Fundraising has come a long way from our humble beginnings just a few years ago,” Nurse said. “There’s an incredible demand in the non-profit community for unique charity auction items that get donors excited and keep them coming back year after year. I’m proud to say no one out there offers a zero-risk program like ours. We’re totally unique in that the fundraising ideas and items we deliver for our charity partners are of an outstanding quality and a value that’s simply unmatched by any other charity auction programs. When we tell folks we offer a zero-risk, all-reward program, we really mean it and stand behind that claim.”
With growth at a level far beyond what Autograph Store Charity Fundraising’s team ever imagined possible, 2011 is poised to break even more records. Its guerilla team out in the field is meeting with more celebrities; its custom framing team is churning out more beautifully framed auction items; its online team is engaging more charity event planners on the Web using social media; and Autograph Store Charity Fundraising’s specialists are reaching out to more new charity partners than ever before.
“Our fundraising ideas are unparalleled, and our goal for 2011 is simple: help more charities,” Nurse said. “It sounds simplistic, and of course, there’s so much more to it than that simple statement, but that’s really the crux of 2011 for us. There are more than 10 million non-profit organizations in the U.S. alone, and the vast majority of them would benefit from our services. So, whether we can reach every last one of them or not, we’re certainly going to try.”
Autograph Store Charity Fundraising’s goals for 2011 are ambitious, but the team’s confidence speaks volumes. To review Autograph Store Charity Fundraising’s 2010 Report Card, visit http://www.ascharityfundraising.com/2010-report-card.
